Power of Philanthropy

Join us for this interactive dialogue with panelists from the business community, nonprofit sector, grant makers, donors, and others.  The goal of this summit is set the stage for a conversation about how for-profit and non-profit companies can effectively collaborate, particularly in the current economic climate, to maintain a strong and vibrant economy.  

Together with the San Diego North Chamber of Commerce, the San Diego Foundation, Sony Electronics and the NonProfit Resource Group, this forum will bring us together to discuss the power of philanthropy from all angles – business, community, economics and social - to find real solutions to our expanding community challenges   It is our hope that our panelists will be able to spark a conversation that will continue.  

The facilitator of the meeting will be Angelo Damante, President/CEO Mercedes Benz of Escondido.  Confirmed panelists include:
