Digital overload is a defining problem in today's workplace. We spend days and nights, on desktops, laptops, tablets and smartphones, we're bombarded with so many messages and alerts that even when we want to focus, it's nearly impossible. 

The demands of being available 24/7, as well as being 100% focused and productive at work and in life, are at the root of stress skyrocketing in the workplace and is a key component in diminishing performance. Research shows that information overload and constant connectivity can be counterproductive.

Today's smartphone users check their phones 150 times a day, which is the equivalent of 2.5 hours a day just opening and closing the phone.
