Inder Verma, PhD,
The Salk Institute
Dr. Verma is a recent American Cancer Society Research Professor, and an authority on the development of viruses for gene therapy vectors. He is the project leader for the Helmsley Center for Genomic Medicine, established to support interdisciplinary research for new therapies for chronic illnesses such as cancer.
