About Us

Cognihealth is a locally owned, licensed non-medical home care agency serving all of San Diego County, with Alzheimer's and dementia care as its core specialty. Founded by a family caregiver with more than 10 years of experience caring for a mother with dementia, Cognihealth provides personal care, companion care, respite care, 24-hour and live-in care, post-hospital recovery care, and veterans home
care. Every caregiver is background-checked, state-registered, trained in specialized dementia care, and employed directly by Cognihealth. Never an independent contractor. Cognihealth is a Medicare GUIDE program partner. Eligible seniors with a dementia diagnosis and traditional Medicare may receive up to $2,500/year in respite reimbursement.
