The Military Affairs Advisory Council advocates for the military community in San Diego.
Our focus:
- Advocacy for all active duty service members, veterans, and their families in San Diego County
- Working with elected officials and Chamber membership on legislation and issues that impact veterans and active duty service members
- Advocacy to include but not limited to:
- Housing
- Jobs
- Taxes
- Unethical practices that impact active duty service members and veterans
- Advocacy to include but not limited to:
- Military Transition
- Operation Connect, a San Diego North Educational Foundation program, educating and connecting veterans to businesses within the Chamber and the community
Please join us next Tuesday 5/4 for a special Virtual Military Affairs Meeting with guests Captain Kenneth Franklin, Commanding Officer Naval Base Point Loma and Mr. Gregory Geisen, NAVWAR's Facility Revitalization Project Manager. Captain Franklin and Greg will provide an update and answer questions about the Navy's plans and progress for the multi-billion-dollar redevelopment of the NAVWAR facility. All members and guests are welcome to register to attend.
