Virginia Morrison, Co-Founder, Chief Executive Officer & Chief Legal Officer at Second Chance Beer Company
Previously a successful private-practicing attorney, Virginia brings extensive employment law and business experience to the fast-growing craft, independent brewery. In her role, Virginia spearheads key company initiatives and business units, including sales, the “1% for Pups” philanthropic program, human resources, and community and political outreach. Virginia graduated summa cum laude with a degree in business pre-law from Bowling Green State University and earned her JD with Honors from the University of Michigan Law School. Virginia rejuvenates by meditating in India, playing with rescue pup, Citra, running in the rain, and drinking her namesake beer “Legally Red.” Virginia also sits on the North San Diego Business Chamber's Board of Directors.
Evan Wahl, Director of Project Management and Site Strategy, Catalent Pharma Solutions - San Diego
Evan Wahl is the Director of Project Management and Site Strategy for Catalent Pharma Solutions, San Diego (a S&P 500 Global Public Company). He provides leadership to the Project Management team, ensuring all projects are managed effectively and according to client expectations as well as an active member of the Catalent Global Project Management team participating in objectives and driving the development of the global project management function across 50 Catalent sites. In addition, Evan also leads local marketing, captures new business opportunities, and maintains and develops successful business relationships.
Evan has served on multiple non-profit and other Boards to include the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater San Diego (2014-2019); North San Diego Business Chamber (2021-2024) and the Rincon del Diablo Municipal Water District (2023-2026). Evan has also worked for various companies to include Prava Construction Services where he held the position of Vice President, Business Development and Risk Management; Vice President of Commercial Pharmaceutical Operations at Carlsbad Technology; and General Manager/Senior Director of Operations at Harvest Power - California. Prior to working in the private sector, Evan had an extensive military career with the U.S. Marine Corps as a Naval Aviator with several management positions to include Managing Director of Operations for Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, and Director of Air Operations for U.S. Pacific Command in Hawaii. Evan holds an MS in Executive Leadership from the University of San Diego, and a BS in Psychology from Carnegie Mellon University.
