The Taxation of Military Retiree Pay in California (AB 427)

This month we are excited to welcome our presenter Mark Balmert, Executive Director ? SDMAC. Last year SDMAC released a study analyzing the costs and benefits that would accompany ending the tax on military retiree pay. Mark will join us to discuss this study and the effects the tax is having on our region while it is in place. Mark will touch on:

Veteran migration trends
Economic impact
Importance of veterans staying in CA
Effect on local and state tax base
