Do you have a Business Continuity or Disaster Recovery Plan ready to help your business quickly recover from an outage or incident? (It might be a regional wildfire or earthquake; but it could also be something like a power outage or electrical fire, or water pipe break impacting a single building/suite.)
On Saturday morning, January 22nd, the San Diego Chapter of the Association of Contingency Planners (ACP) will be conducting a free Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery Workshop focused on small business operations. The workshop will be open to anyone interested in creating a basic, yet effective, Business Continuity Plan to serve as your ?one-stop shopping? resource in response to an emergency.
The workshop will feature the "Open for Business® Toolkit" developed by the Institute for Business & Home Safety (IBHS).
By the end of the workshop, you?ll be familiar with the tools you need to quickly and easily begin preparing your business for the unexpected. You?ll also learn about free or low cost planning resources that can be used to help protect employees and safeguard your business assets, revenue and reputation.
