The Acting Academy

Learn to create characters by using masks, movement, and more. This intensive two week-long adventure will expand your theatrical skills through guidance from highly-qualified, professional instructors. Students will explore and discover both the characters and the story of ?A Midsummer Night?s Dream?. Explore stage conflict and combat in a fight scene from classical theater. Create a character and then construct a mask to use while exploring intention and focus in a group scene. Student ratios are purposefully kept low so that each young actor can receive individual attention to apply to their theater experience and beyond.
