Lamp of Learning - Holiday Breakfast at the University Club

Join us for Lamp of Learning's yearly Holiday Breakfast at the University Club downtown. 

The Lamp of Learning is a scholarship program based out of the University Club atop Symphony Towers. Originally inspired as a way to give back and re-engage with the educational foundation of the club, the group is now a full fledged 501(c)3 organization giving $18,000 in scholarships annually to San Diego County high school seniors moving on to 4-year universities. The Lamp of Learning partners with AVID, an intensive college preparation program delivered through high schools, to highlight and target exceptional first-generation college hopefuls. We are extremely proud of our students and the impact they will make on the community far into the future.

This is a great opportunity to network and meet our award-winning students. We'll also have Dan Hom, Chairman of the Board of Governors and CEO of Focuscom Inc. speaking. What better way could you possibly start the morning? 

Sit-down breakfast will be provided. Event is free but donations are highly appreciated and encouraged. Email info@lampoflearning.org for registration.

Please give notice a few days before if you can't make so food can be planned accordingly. 

Dresscode: Smart casual, meaning business casual: unripped jeans/denim are appropriate. Gentlemen are required to wear closed-toed shoes and a collared shirt or sweater. No shorts, flip-flops, tank tops, t-shirts, athletic apparel, or baseball hats are permitted.
