Famous Harvard Glee Club to perform in Escondido

The Choral Arts program at the California Center for the Arts, Escondido (the Center) is proud to present local audiences with a concert by America?s oldest collegiate choir, the Harvard Glee Club, which will take the Center Theater stage at 7:30 p.m. on Sat., Jan. 18. Conducted by Andrew Clark, the famous Harvard Glee Club will be the Center?s guests for a memorable evening of delightful song. Founded in 1858, the Harvard Glee Club is the oldest continuing choral ensemble in the United States. A close-knit group of Harvard undergraduate and graduate students, the 60-voice men's ensemble has toured extensively and will be in California on its winter tour. Tickets for the Harvard Glee Club cost $15-22 for Center members, $18-25 for non-members, $10 for students and military with ID, and FREE for children 12 and under.
