Cathedral Catholic High School is an innovative academic community of lifelong learners grounded in the Catholic faith that prepares our graduates to live God's call and build the Kingdom.

What products or services does your business provide?

Cathedral Catholic High School is a leader in Catholic, college preparatory education. Our rigorous, innovative education program is offered in a nurturing community based on teachings of Jesus Christ and Traditions of the Catholic Church. Our CCHS core values-- faith, knowledge, character and responsibility-- developed from our University of San Diego High School heritage guide our graduates' growth to become responsible leaders. Our program is student centered, recognizing that each person is made in the image and likeness of God and shaped by differences in interest, ability, and background. We are a collaborative community, dedicated to learning and teaching students to assume responsibility for their own educational and spiritual growth. In partnership with parents, we form an educational ministry that is mutually supportive and committed to excellence.


What was the most memorable or successful moment in your business' history?

Cathedral Catholic High School is a community built on faith, knowledge, character and responsibility since 1957.

CCHS is accredited by the Western Catholic Educational Association (WCEA) and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and holds membership with the College Board.

CCHS is recognized as an Apple Distinguished School, providing school-wide, one-to-one access to Apple iPads for all students, teachers and administrators.


Tell us an interesting fact about your business.

Cathedral Catholic High School is pleased to partner with two higher education institutions to allow our students to earn transferable college credit on our campus. Our partnerships offer students the opportunity to take one of 17 college courses, during the school day, on our campus.

Cathedral Catholic High School is also committed to creating a supportive academic learning environment for all of our students. The CCHS Learning Center serves students with diagnosed learning differences. Our Learning Center services are broken down into three levels of support: Learning Center, which offers accommodations for specific learning needs. Academy Program, which is a structured, specialized learning environment for diploma-bound students who desire a Catholic education. Finally, our Options Program is an inclusive education program for students with intellectual disabilities or delays.

CCHS offers a Pre-Engineering program, designed to provide students with the skills needed to succeed in future Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics programs. It includes specialized courses in addition to high level core courses.

Campus Tours are conducted by appointment, Monday- Thursday. Open House will take place on November 16, 2019, from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Shadow Visits are available for prospective students, by appointment.
