Inflection brings together a series of works by Amanda Rybicki and Michael Rybicki, inspired by intersections of subjective realities, memory, and distorted experience. Interactive, analog sculptures explore how inputs derive changes, repetitive loops, or erosion. Mechanical systems with visible components driven by the viewer directly cause degradation, separation, or exhaust supply. Objects and jewelry explore elements of distortion. Subtle changes to form, pattern, and texture invoke adaptations of autobiographical memory and shared reality, questioning ideas of authenticity and revision.
