You voted for freeway improvements, are commitments being honored?
Will San Diegans be taxed for new promises on top of broken promises?
In 2004, the voters of San Diego County voted to approve a new tax
to relieve traffic congestion, improve safety, and match state/federal funds by:
- Expanding 1-5, 1-8, 1-15, SR 52, SR 54, SR 56, SR 67, SR 76, SR 78, SR 94, SR 125, 1-805;
- Maintaining/improving local roads;
Today, SANDAG, is proposing that the funds be diverted into mass transit and an additional tax be implemented to build out mass transit in San Diego County.
Hear presentations and understand why this is going to impact all of us and what will we do moving forward.
