John Shaw is a Business Owner, Certified Business Coach, and Senior Leader with a wide span of experience and expertise. For the last thirty years he has been a successful senior executive for national and regional companies, as well as a small business owner. As the owner of FocalPoint Business Coaching, John works with business people for a powerful competitive edge. He partners with them to create a clear vision, to set, achieve, and exceed their goals, and to create breakthrough strategies that will transform their businesses and their lives.
John serves on the Education Committee of the San Diego North Chamber of Commerce, lives in Poway with his wife Kathy, and has three terrific sons, an amazing daughter-in-law, and the world’s cutest grandson. When not coaching, he loves time with his family, sports, eclectic music, an intriguing book, and a fish on the line.
