DESCRIPTION:The community is invited to join The Elizabeth Hospice at our quarterly Veterans Caring for Veterans meeting and information session on Thursday\, February 28\, 2019 from 10am to 11am at the North Inland Live Well Center Military and Veteran Resource Center located at 649 West Mission Ave.\, Escondido 92025. \n\n \n\nAttendees will learn more about veteran volunteer opportunities. We also provide continuing education for our veteran volunteers that include topics such as soul injury\, moral injury\, PTSD and trauma. Volunteers also learn how to officiate a veteran pinning ceremony for hospice patients at the bedside. Current volunteers and all community members are welcome. \n\nRSVP to the Volunteer Department at volunteer@ehospice.org or call 800-797-2050.
