The opening reception will be held on Saturday April 14\, from 6-10pm. Reception with the artist will include live music\, ArtHatch open studios\, BK Cellars Wine\, and Stone Beer.\n\n \n\nLinnea Strid is a young\, Sweden based Artist who is making her mark in the fine art community.  Her hyper-realistic oil paintings are most identifiable by her intriguing use of water in portraiture.  This reflective\, beautifully haunting application captures intimate moments of self-examination\, fear and loneliness.  With extreme realistic detail\, the eye is often fooled to believing it is a photograph.\n\n \n\nCome experience this limited engagement to view the exquisite brushwork and talent of Linnea Strid.\n\n \n\nFrom the director "From the moment I first saw Linnea's works I fell in love.  Then\, I met her in person and knew I needed I needed to work with her again.  It is an absolute pleasure to host her solo exhibition at Distinction Gallery.  I cannot wait to see what she creates".\n\n \n\nThe exhibition will run from April 14   May 5. The opening reception with many artists\, live music\, ArtHatch open studios\, Stone Beer\, and BK Cellars wine will be on Saturday April 14\, 2018 from 6-10pm.\n\n \n\nArtHatch is a 7\,000 square foot building which houses Distinction Gallery: exhibitions changing monthly\, multiple exhibition spaces featuring work by represented artists\, "The Alley" featuring over 20 local artists\, 14 artist studios\, ranging in size from 150 to 800 square feet\, featuring local artists and the ArtHatch teens.
