DESCRIPTION:Oceanside Yacht Club Hosts Annual Regatta to Benefit The Elizabeth Hospice\n\nProceeds Provide Medical\, Emotional and Spiritual Support to People \n\nNearing the End of Life's Journey and for Those Who Are Grieving\n\n \n\nThe Oceanside Yacht Club will host its 16th annual Charity Regatta to benefit The Elizabeth Hospice on Saturday\, August 4 and Sunday\, August 5\, 2018 at the Oceanside Yacht Club\, located at 1950 Harbor Drive North\, Oceanside. 25 ft. to 50 ft. sailboats\, staffed with sailors and crews\, will compete for trophies while demonstrating their support for this local nonprofit organization that cares for children and adults with life-limiting illnesses. \n\n \n\nThe two-day event will include sailboat races starting at Noon\, and post-race parties with food\, cocktails\, live music\, silent auction\, raffle prizes and trophy presentation. The entry fee for the two-day Regatta race is $50. The community can join the fun by boarding a luxury powerboat with a $100 donation to The Elizabeth Hospice. Everyone is welcome to attend the post-race festivities\, free-of -charge\, beginning at 3 pm on Saturday and 2 pm on Sunday. \n\n \n\n"Oceanside Yacht Club chose The Elizabeth Hospice as the beneficiary of our Charity Regatta because of the important work they are doing for the people in our community\," said Terri Manok\, Oceanside Yacht Club Charity Regatta Chair.
