DESCRIPTION:The Non-Profit Advisory Council of the North San Diego Business Chamber serves as a unifying and influential voice for the non-profit sector\, working to strengthen the capacity\, visibility\, and sustainability of non-profit organizations throughout the region. Comprised of leaders from diverse non-profit organizations\, the Council fosters collaboration between the business and non-profit communities to drive meaningful change.\n\nThrough education\, the Council provides non-profit professionals with tools\, training\, and insights to navigate challenges\, build leadership\, and increase operational effectiveness. Through engagement\, it creates opportunities for connection\, shared learning\, and collective problem-solving that amplify the sector's ability to serve. And through strategic advocacy\, the Council works to shape policies and initiatives that support non-profit resilience and innovation.\n\nBy bringing together mission-driven organizations and community stakeholders\, the Council empowers its members to address the region's most pressing social\, economic\, and environmental issues elevating the role of nonprofits as essential partners in building a thriving\, inclusive\, and resilient San Diego.\n\nAll Chamber Members and their employees are invited to join the meetings and participate in the discussion.\n\n\n\nJanuary 7th\, 2026\n\nSpeaker: Sally Dadmun Bixby \n\n\n\nSally brings over 35 years of nonprofit experience to her practice as a fundraising consultant\, speaker\, teacher\, and leadership coach. She uses her rich history in the sector to elevate fundraising efforts for nonprofits of all sizes and levels of experience. Specializing in initiating and revitalizing fundraising programs\, Sally has a talent for bringing boards and staff together to raise more money. Her hands-on approach transforms the landscape of organizations\, leading them from learning to thriving\, while simultaneously increasing engagement and funding that powerfully drives the mission forward. Sally has been the Team Leader of Philanthropy Studio\, LLC since 2012. She is also an equestrian\, grandmother\, yogini\, gardener\, and an avid traveler.
