DESCRIPTION:San Diego Self Storage and Anthony R. Carr\, Managing Partner\, have partnered with San Diego Blood Bank to match all gifts received by December 31\, 2020\, up to $70\,000! This matching challenge will fund two new bloodmobiles to replace ones that have reached their lifespan and cannot be retrofitted.\n\nOne bloodmobile can collect up to 7\,000 units of blood per year\, impacting up to 21\,000 lives and over the 15-year lifespan of two bloodmobiles\, approximately 210\,000 units will be collected. Since one unit of blood can save up to three lives\, an estimated 630\,000 people of all ages and socio-economic backgrounds will be impacted.\n\nThis matching gift challenge is a great opportunity to show your support for SDBB and our mission to save lives with quality blood services in partnership with the community.
