DESCRIPTION:ArtHatch and Distinction Gallery are excited to present their annual ArtHatch Studio Artists Group Exhibition\, featuring the collective art of their very own in-house ArtHatch Studio Artists. This year the theme of the exhibition focuses on "Super-Heros\, Graphic Novels\, & Pop Culture". Highlighting a wide range of artwork from original paintings\, photography\, and other mixed media\, this exhibit is a representation of the broad spectrum of current local San Diego artists. Including artwork by professional artists such as Victor Roman\, Cathrine Edlinger-Kunze\, and more. Side by side emerging and accomplished artists come together to present their artistic voices and inspirations\, giving rise to a diverse and creative show\; representing over 30 artists total. The Opening Reception with Live Music will be held on Saturday\, July 11\, 2015 from 6-10pm. All guests are invited to dress up as their favorite Super-hero or Character. A Costume Contest will be held during the Opening Reception\, judging and prizes start at 8pm. Studio artists within the ArtHatch building will have their studios open to the public as well.
