DESCRIPTION:Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater San Diego (BGCGSD) invites you to Change Lives and invest in the future of San Diego's youth with their signature fundraising event\, An Evening of Changing Lives (ECL). Each year nearly 700 Club supporters and community members gather for an amazing night that raises critical funds to support the Club's programs and mission to provide San Diego children with a positive\, fun\, and safe environment. \n\n\n\nAn Evening of Changing Lives will be held on Saturday September 25\, 2021 at the beautiful Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina outdoor Marina Terrace. Join us under the stars! This year the Boys & Girls Club will celebrate in a new way - outdoors and appropriately distanced. Enjoy a spectacular night of live entertainment and community outreach along San Diego's waterfront and historic Gaslamp Quarter. \n\n\n\nThe fun begins at 5:30pm with incredible silent and live auction items ranging from Padres memorabilia to vacationing on Hawaii's beautiful island of Maui. Other auction items include a trip to the illustrious Willamette Valley for exclusive dining experiences and private wine tasting tours. With a record of sold-out auction success\, registered guests will receive exclusive access to bid on once in a lifetime items beginning two weeks prior to the event. \n\n\n\n"It's all about the kids!" said Jeff Nadeau\, BGCGSD's Event Chair. "It's a great feeling to know all of our hard work directly translates into life changing moments for the kids we serve." Individual tickets are $500 and tables start at $5\,000. Ticket price includes cocktails\, a three-course dinner and a live performance featuring Journey former lead vocalist Steve Augeri. Come dance the night away with legendary Classic Rock hits such as "Don't Stop Believin'\," "Wheel in the Sky\," and "Any Way You Want It." \n\n\n\nFor over 80 years\, Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater San Diego has provided youth with a safe and nurturing environment through a wide variety of enrichment programs\, activities\, and services.
