The Century Club of San Diego is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit that operates San Diego’s annual PGA TOUR event, the Farmers Insurance Open at the historic Torrey Pines Golf Course to impact the community economically and charitably.
Hospitality to entertain - Along with best-in-class partners, we have focused on the guest experience by creating exciting venues, locally-inspired food and beverage menus in a highly social atmosphere. All this while enjoying the incredible views of Torrey Pines and drama unfold "inside the ropes" among the PGA TOUR's best players.
The commitment of Farmers Insurance as our title sponsor. First, stepping in as title sponsor in the midst of the Recession in 2010 and again in 2018 by extending the commitment through 2026. A southern California company committed to the San Diego community.
First question after telling people what we do, "You must play a lot of golf?" The reality is we may play 10-15 times a year with clients and prospective clients. Being on the business side of a major sporting event, our team's background is predominantly professional team sports.
People have infinite choices on how to spend their entertainment and leisure dollar. You must stay relationship-oriented. A transactional approach ensures a race to the bottom.
