HP exec gives advice for economic recovery

Ways to adjust to a COVID-19 “new normal,” how to resume business in a changed environment and steps to prepare for potential workplace interruptions until the global pandemic ends were among issues covered in a local webinar.

Poway resident Glen Hopkins, the chief technology officer and global head at HP based in Rancho Bernardo, recently presented “Re-setting for the New Normal: What Opportunities Await?” via Zoom to North San Diego Business Chamber members.

“We need to be helping each other because so much of this is situational,” Hopkins said. Especially during this global pandemic, he said companies, including competitors, should share information so they can learn from each other ways to survive.
