The Military Affairs Advisory Council advocates for all active duty service members, veterans, and their families in San Diego County. This month the Military Affairs Advisory Council is honored to be joined by two excellent guest speakers, Corrine Busta and Gary Robertson.

Corrine Busta - "The Challenges of Transitioning from Military to Civilian Careers"
Corrine is currently a Policy Advisor, Military/ Veterans Liaison and Grant Manager for Supervisor Kristen Gaspar of the San Diego County Board of Supervisors. Before her transition to civilian life Corrine was a member of the US Navy and trained in the 55th integrated boot camp. The camp trained both men and women equally and was the first of its kind in Naval History.
Gary Robertson - "How to Start an Employee Resource Group Within Your Organization"
Gary is a retired Navy Lieutenant Commander, and has been employed by Northrop Grumman for 13 years. In addition to this Gary also manages Northrop Grumman's Veteran Resource Group. Within a year of running their VRG Gary was able to take the group from 80 members to over 500. He is currently the Chair for the Northrop Grumman Aerospace System VERITAS (VRG) with 1,400 members
